Easy walk to town with shopping and restaurants; easy walk to university campus for conference; charming architecture; excellent breakfast; helpful staff.
Location was good
Style of the hotel is not very modern. room was pretty smelly. Hotel staff couldn't really help in organizing tours.
The location is very good, walking distance to city and restaurants. The breakfast personell very helpful and nice.
The room was a bit dark due to the old building with a strange bathroom solution
A clean, friendly guest house in a good location for Stellenbosch town centre, restaurants, the Botanic Gardens and a short drive to vineyards and the local nature reserve.
Being close to the University means being close to student accommodation and late night noise. Something to consider if noise is bothersome.
One thing I like very much about this guest house is the friendliness of the staff. The kitch staff are also very friendly, and were very quick in knwing the individual tastes and preferences of the different guests. They made you feel very much at home.

The location of the accommodation to the town centre was really good. There was also secure car parking on site and a swimming pool.

It was quite expensive for the quality of the accommodation, I.e. the shower was in the room. not in a separate room. This may have been because we went in peak season though. The room was much more dated then the pictures on the description. Overall it was fine for a stay in Stellenbosch.
We had a beautiful historic room with antique furniture and lovely little touches like proper shampoo and rennies to make it feels like home.
Location is perfect. Beautiful period type houses
Breakfast is made in front of you, and staff talk loudly. Didn't like being given yoghurt in a tiny cup, and fruit salad dished up for you. No options given as to what was available for breakfast. Decor could do with a revamp
